Important Friend of the Regiment

The members of the various corporations or the individuals who substantially support, who have supported, the Regiment by their contributions are eligible to receive the medallion Important Friend and Benefactor of the Regiment. The recipient of the medallion is carefully selected by a committee chaired by the commanding officer. The medallion is then presented at a special event. The delivery of the medallion is finally formalized by the signature of the recipient in the register created for this purpose.

Important Friend of the Regiment pin

The medallion is suspended from a ribbon of regimental colors. It is numbered and registered in the official register; the recipient’s name is engraved on it. As well, a golden lapel pin, more discreet, can be proudly worn on other occasions. The medallion and pin are presented in a black velvet case symbolizing the solemn aspect of the medallion.
