RCH Institute

Mission

The mission of the Institute is to educate the public with respect to the history, traditions and role of cavalry and armoured soldiers and other mounted military forces or similar organisations, and their contribution to the development of the city of Montreal, the province of Quebec and the country of Canada, notably by

• collecting donations from individuals, corporations or any other organization;
• preserving cavalry and armoured traditions and customs;
• sponsoring the publication of historical books and other media;
• contributing financially to the erection or preservation of monuments, historical buildings and other historical articles;
• contributing funds and objects of historical importance to the Royal Canadian Hussars Museum and other museums; and
• contributing funds to the Royal Canadian Hussars Unit Fund, which is a qualified donee.
