On behalf of the executive and members of the Montreal Cavalry Institute, I would like to thank you for your past friendship and support to the Royal Canadian Hussars. I invite you to read the attached letter, which will explain in more detail the purpose of the Institute and the reasons for us reaching out to you.
Here are some highlights: A group of former members of the unit are working on a project aimed at publishing a complete history of the regiment and the Montreal-area cavalry. This book will be published by the Montreal Cavalry Institute (formerly the Royal Canadian Hussars Institute) in 2020. Recently, the Institute launched a financing and advance sales campaign for the project.
